O.P.I Big Apple Red

Nail colour for the week...
Love how this is the perfect shade of deep apple red which suits any skin tone.
Please note that I did not finish cleaning the edges and did not apply a top coat before taking this picture as I was waiting for the polish to dry.

What shade of nails are you rocking this week?

Clutch

Sometimes I just don't have enough time to do myself up so I accesorize instead. This is a clutch I got from SODA a few days ago. Thought I'd share it with you guys.
I saw it, fell in love with it, bought it. It also comes with a metal strap you can use if you just want to sling it on your shoulder. It's hard finding a gorgeous clutch for a good price but I finally found one!  I got it for about MYR 60 and comes in other colours like peach. Don't forget to bring in your SODA membership card to get a discount and earn points!

Young Blood High Definition Powder

I absolutely adore this product. It's a must for all girls with any sort of skin tone and skin type.

Where do I even begin. It keeps the shine away, it changes the texture of your skin. Your skin will look amazing in pictures. It feels so light weight. It even hydrates your skin. Best of all, since it's made of pure minerals, it lets your skin breathe. You won't feel like you have a mask on your face.

You can check this out as well as other products from the Young Blood Line at Shins:

Of course it costs quite a bit but I can promise you that you won't be dissapointed.

It comes with a soft sponge on the inside and has a mirror too.

This is a 5 star product. One of my favourites. I highly recommend this product.

Toni & Guy Shimmer Mist

I don't know about you but I think putting glitter in your hair should only be for pre-schoolers. If you are looking to add a sublte hint of shimmer to your hair, you should get this.

The one I got is for brunettes but I suppose you could also use it if you have dark hair. It just lifts your colour and gives your crowning glory a really healthy and shiny gloss.
Unfortunately you cannot get this in Malaysia. You would use this just like using a hairspray. It's so easy to use and is really a good product.

Got this from Boots, UK.
200 ml (That's quite a lot!)
Made in the UK.

I would get it again. Highly recommend this product.

Have a great weekend!

Redken All Soft Conditioner

Redken makes really good hair products. This has to be one of the best conditioner's I have come across and is my all time favourite.

Contains avocado oil and gold camelina among other ingredients.
 250ml
About RM50.00 from the K Care Shop.

It's for dry/brittle hair. It leaves hair super soft and smells divine!

I highly recommend this product.

What's your all time favourite conditioner?

Baylis& Harding Candle and Body Wash

Early Christmas presents. I think they look gorgeous.

The packaging is amazing, it looks pretty but I'm quite dissapointed with the scent. It sort of smells like cheap soap. Good news is I have plans for the box that came with it as well as the glass container.

Next...

It's a massive bottle of body wash that sort of smells just like the candle.
So Baylis & Harding, from England, but made in China.
Makes quite a cheap yet attractive gifts for any occasion. Love the packaging.

What's your cheap yet attractive gift that you'de give someone?

Bare Minerals Foundation Powder.

This is the one that I use. It's Medium Tan.
8g/0.28 oz.
15 spf
Around £20 / MYR 100+

Has an overall good coverage when applied. Appropriate for those with senstivie skin since it is purely made from minerals. Also perfect for those with blemished skin. You don't have to apply this throughout the day when you get a shiny nose, just have a kabuki brush on hand and swirl the foundation that's already on your face around and you will see results as if you just put it on. Good enough to wear all day long, even when your asleep so it makes it the perfect product if you're one of those who sometimes get lazy or are too tired to take your make-up off after a long day.

Let your skin breathe!Get mineral make-up!

I highly recommend this product.

Check this out and other products from the same line on strawberrynet.com

Benefit Dr. Feel Good Balm

This is another product that does what it says. It's absolutely something amazing to keep in your purse/handbag.
The packaging is cute and unique.

Skin feels smooth after applying this. You can wear it simply by itself of after putting on make up. When you need to get rid of that oily shine off your face, just use this! Just dab some loose powder after getting this on your face for a perfectly matte look.

This balm is infused with vitamin C! Definitely good for you. Also, it smells great!
For the price, it is sufficient enough to last you a while.

I would definitely buy this again and I highly reccomend this product.

Stay Luscious!

Shoes

What do you think of my new shoes?

These are from VISS.

I got at them at a really good bargain.

Jimmy Choo Leopard Print Bag

It would be a crime not to share this with you.
I just got this yesterday and it was love at first sight. It caught my eye from quite a distance ( Maybe you guessed it.I love my leopard print. ). I don't splurge on anything unless I absolutely love it.

What's your favourite bag at the moment?

Olivia garden Ceramic + Ion Thermal Brush

Using just a thermo protect product on your hair may not be enough to achieve any desired hair-do. Having a good brush helps you to not only achieve your desired hair-do but also may save your hair from excessive breakage.

This is the Olivia Garden hairbrush I got quite recently and it seems pretty good so far.

The barrel is ceramic coated and this brush has high quality tourmaline. This brush is said to add lustre and sheen as well as smoothen hair. It restores hair balance as well.

What's unique about this hair brush is at the end of the handle, theres a retractable pick that can be used to separate hair sections. Once you're done with it, you can just slip it back in.

So this hairbrush is around RM60 from Shins but doest every girl need a good hairbrush?

The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain

I've wanted to try this out for a long time and I finally got a hold of it yesterday.
RM 39 / £ 10  (8 ml/0.2 US FL OZ)

The trick with lip stains is to use the applicator instead of using fingers as the product gets dried up on the finger leaving a purplish look on your lips. (Not the kind of lips you want). You put it straight on your lips and let it dry without smacking your lips together or rubbing it with your fingers. It wont work any other way! The more times you put it on and let it dry, the more intense the colour of your lips will be.

It leaves your lips looking naturally rosy.
For the price, I'd say it's pretty good but it's not the best lip stain.

Have a good week ahead everyone!

New Make Up Look

This is something different compared to the neutral tones I usually stick with...
I'm sure you've, at some point, seen youtube videos where the make up artists use high end brands like MAC, Bobbi Brown and so forth to look all dolled up. I'm not saying that they aren't good. Some people just can't afford it (like students) or are frugal ( like me..most of the time). This is just to let you know that it isn't necessary to use make up from high end brands to look good when you can still look gorgeous without digging deep into your pocket.

What I used to achieve this look:
Eyes:

 Lips:

Face:
You can click on the images to make them appear bigger.
I've done reviews on some of these products and will be doing reviews for the ones that I haven't. You can find the reviews from the labels on the sidebar.

This is the overall very barbie like look.
(I apologise for the resolution. It's a work in progress)

This is a close up of the eyes. You are meant to be looking at dark purple on the outer side progressing towards hot pink and pale pink inwards. (I'm not wearing fake lashes)
I did use quite a few different products for the eyes and if you've paid attention, the products I used aren't that expensive and can help you achieve this look as seen in the above picture and yes, with a primer, your eye make up may last longer.

Happy Experimenting!

O.P.I Matched Luggage

It's handy to have a few neutral shades to switch and use for an everyday, fresh, glossy nails.
This is another neutral colour from O.P.I that I have just recently picked up. Like every other O.P.I nail polish, this one is just as incredible as the others. The colour, as well as the quality.

                                     Without flash                  With Flash

I used just one coat of this polish on my nails as seen in this picture.

Scinic Aqua Ex

Another gift I got from someone. These are Korean made. Although I got these as a gift, I did do a little research on these.
 From the Left:
Skin Toner (130ml, around RM 70.00) & Essence(50ml)

After cleansing the face, the skin toner is simply to be spritzed onto the skin until dry and then the Essence (which is basically a moisturiser) is to be applied onto the skin.
The moisturiser is really rich and so only a very little amount is needed. I've used this only once to test it out and let you know what it's like. You canimmediately feel that your skin has been moisturised after using these by looking and feeling the texture of the skin. From what I've found out and tried, these are pretty good products. I tried to find the exact ingredients used in these products but the official SCINIC website is in Korean.

The bottles are amazingly gorgeous. They are made of glass and can be used again.

If you want to know more, you can check these out at Sasa or visit their website by clicking the link below

Red Hot Lips with Rimmel

Some girls out there may find it hard to rock blood red lips. It's hard to find the right shade of red for your skin tone. Some are just afraid of getting red lipstick where it shouldn't be..like your teeth. I love wearing my lips red and do so from time to time but it can be sort of tricky.
This is my red lips...
Took this picture with natural lighting. I apologize for the not-so-clear picture.

I've never really tried out any of Rimmel's products until I saw these. I just had to try them out.

What I used to get these lips:
Rimmel's Exagerate Full Colour Lip Liner Definer in 024 - Red Diva (from Asda)
Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in 500 - Diva Red (from Asda)
Rimmel's Shock Gloss Amped in 208 Amped (from Asda)

( I will do reviews of these products one by one soon)

They treat your lips well. They don't slide off, don't dry your lips, etc.

These are so easy to use. I'm sure there are many videos you can find on Youtube on how to wear red lipstick.

What I did was:
Line the outer part of my lips first then fill them in.
Use one coat of lipstick and take the excess off with a tissue paper and apply one more coat.
I used the lipgloss at the end. This is optional. You can go without the lipgloss if you wish.

Would you believe I got these all from ASDA for a remarkably amazing price and they are SO good! The lip liner can be used just by itself. I would definitely get these again.
I highly recommend these as I personally think they are the perfect shade of red for those with fair and tanned skin tones. Besides that, you can't beat the price.

Tip: Exfoliate your lips before doing this to avoid getting flaky lips.

Rock your lips dolls!!
