Etude House Nail Polish

This week, I'm using Etude House's nail polish from the Lucid Darling Collection.

What I like about this nail polish is the neutral colour. Secondly, I like the fact that it's so easy to put on because of it's cosistency. One coat is all you need for pretty nails.

I used just one coat in this picture.

Also, it dries fast. I bought this polish quite some time ago and it hasn't gone clumpy at all.

You can just use a base coat and use the polish on the top without having to use a top coat and still have fab looking nails.

You will be happy to know that these polishes are really budget friendly. I don't remember how much a bottle costs. I think I got these for less than MYR 10.00, each bottle.

You can check out the other colour I have from this collection here:

Hair Bands and Scrunchies

I'm all for great deals and I was really suprised to find these. Who would've thought you could find things like these at your local morning market.
The best part is that these three items cost me only MYR 10.00 as opposed to paying a lot more if you buy them at a mall. The hair bands are felt leopard print and the scrunchie is satin. Have to go to this morning market more often.

What did you, recently, get a good deal on?

Loreal Hair Care Products

A few years ago, when I started using a hair straightener, I found this amazing product ( the L'oreal straightening balm ) which can, sadly, no longer be found in Malaysia. I introduced this product to my family and friends and now they are all hooked on it. Later on I found the curling spray which is also good.

L'oreal makes some pretty good stuff. These two products are budget friendly and makes your hair look super gorgeous. It also protects your hair from heat. Also, it makes your hair smooth and it's humidity proof. The curling spray is what I got from U.K. They are 200 ml and 150 ml respectively.

It's easy to use. Just rub in after towel drying your hair. You can use these with a blow dryer as well. I like how it feels light weight and it smells great!

Consider yourself very lucky if you are able to get hold of these. I can't find these in Malaysia so I had to ask someone I know in Switzerland to send the straigtening balm to me (thus the swiss german labelling on it ).

I love and highly recommend these to anyone who wants gorgeous and glossy looking hair but have a tight budget.

Let me know what you think if you've used these before.

Ecotools Bamboo Brush

My Body Shop Kabuki Brush didn't survive all that long, being washed often after getting make-up on it so I went out to get a new one. I liked this one and I got it.

I got this from Shins. It was MYR 65.

This brush is pretty good overall.
It's 100% cruelty free.
It comes with a free pouch.
It won't feel harsh on your skin. Great for using with powder make up or bronzer.

The Body Shop Brush lasted me about one and a half years. Let's see how long this one lasts.

You can check out Shins by clicking the below link:

Don't forget to take your Shins membership card with you but remember you don't get a discount, you get vouchers after you earn a certain amount of points.

It's important that you always wash your make up brushes. To learn how, click on the link below

Accesories Galore!!

4 days of holiday and what better way to spend it then to go out shopping and dining with my younger sister. We managed to pick up some pretty cool things including the things I'm going to put in this entry.

Check out the accesories I got...

Peacock feathers seem to be everywhere now. I've always loved them, like my sister. My skin doesn't get along with chrome plated accesories so we went hunting for something I could wear and I got these. The black strings with the peacock feather earing which I turned into pendants cost me MYR 20.00 while the pendant  ( gold with colourful diamentes on it ) cost me MYR 15.00.

I never thought I would be able to ever say it but now I am the proud owner or a Louis Vuitton! It's small but cute and good enough for me.

There's another two more days of holiday to enjoy. Let's see what else I can get my hands on..

Did you manage to get your hands on anything really good?
